Composite Air Pressure Vessels

Umoe Advanced Composites is offering the new
generation of composite air pressure vessels (CAPV)
for use in heave compensation systems.

Air pressure vessels are made of light weight glass fibre
and epoxy composite materials, and are manufactured
by welding a HDPE liner and filament winding.

CAPVs from Umoe Advanced Composites are being
installed on several of the new drillships and
semisubmersible rigs which will operate in the deep
and ultradeep waters worldwide.
