Kristiansand, Norway, 17th August 2026 – UMOE Advanced Composites (UAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Morten Amundlien as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), starting 1 October 2026.
Morten joins UAC from Tratec Solutions AS, where he serves as Chief Financial Officer. He brings extensive experience in international finance, financial control and strategic development, having previously held senior finance positions at Elkem ASA and Columbus Norway.
“UAC has ambitious growth plans and a clear strategy to become the global frontrunner in cost-effective gas storage and distribution solutions. Morten’s financial leadership experience and international background will strengthen our executive team as we execute that strategy,” said Lars Erik Lunøe, President & CEO of UMOE Advanced Composites.
As Chief Financial Officer, Morten will lead UAC’s global finance function and play a key role in supporting the company’s continued growth, operational excellence and strategic development.

Morten holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Agder.
